Does anyone know why VRN moved into the JK camp after being with MRF and Leelakrishnan (in particular) for quite a long time?

he moved to MRF because there was some sponsor conflict when he drove the lancer evo. He apparently ran with his own company as a main sponsor and with JK as co sponsor, when he was still with MRF.
Vikram Maithais also moved to JK along with naren.

From what i hear Leela also moved to JK to prepare and head their rally effort.

He kinda dissed him when Naren didn't fare brilliantly in some APRC stage, from what I remember. Considering Naren had already won championships for them in the INRC, he was upset, and so rented an Evo VIII and put JK decals and drove it.

Basically they did't give him an EVO when APRC came to India. THey wanted him to just stick to Balenos and he wanted to drive the EVOs. THat is why he ran his own privater EVO with help from JK.

To be fair to MRF they ran both him and Arjun Balu for 2 full seasons in APRC once with Civic hatchback (Gp-N?) and once with the EVOs. He did well with the Civics but could'nt bring in results in the EVO.

Saw him in the news recently with Arjun atop a Coimbatore registration Maruti baleno sporting JK colors, it sure is MRF's loss.

Arjun ??? as in Arjun Balu ???
Arjun Balu is in Team MRF and Naren is Spearheading Team JK Tyre assault in Indian Motorsport .. So you saw Arjun with Naren atop a JK car ???

Hey, That seems strange as Arjun is MRF's driver ... unless he was there as a friend and come guy got a pic !! Unless there is some under the table dealing and Arjun is being wooed away from MRF -- now that will really get MRF
