The once in a year, mind-blowin drag event gonna take place on the 25th and 26th of this month.....falling on a Sat, n Sunday...

I leavin this Board for you guyz to post what to look for at the drag event to make it a more complete experience...

Personally I feel, you guyz should check out the RD class event, feat. all time winner Nisar Tuning ( in yellow) and Old skool dragster Baban Khan....
I will update you guyz on their RDs on this board.....

Im gonna remind ya'all again.....guyz pls save some dough for some kick ass entertainment.....dabbas around da corner......n its gonna be burnin hot man!

I think its not going to happen this month.I guess April 15-16 is the confirmed dates for Bangalore as far as I know..

The mumbai run is on the 25-26th of this month.
bangy and chennai runs are somewhere around mid-april.

Hopefully Bangalore will get to see more imported cars this time at the Speedrun.

Yes , hopefully they wont get themselves disqualified like they did at burnout .. However it should be pretty interesting this time around .. Lot of REALLY QUICK CARS moving around town and i can see that the chennai boys are upto something as well .. All in all it will be one hellava event ..

baban khans RD and nissar's RD were disqualified? :Shockked:
i thought baban khans RD finished first at the bangy habba with henna on board.
now that you guys have already taken names..i am wondering.. whos the guy who was running RD400 barrels in the 350class LOL?
also anyone know what setup nissar and baban khan were running ?

As far as i know baban khans RD bagged 2nd spot and was disqualified .. A few insiders said that they werent running 400 barrels but the existing 350 barrels were over the classification limits .. I think these guys might have been banned from all events held by MAI/FMSCI for a year (which im not sure of) .. Can anyone confirm ??

im betting they are going to turn up at the nxt drag events but with different bikes.
though rules say that you are banned from the NEXT event only. i dont think they are going to reinforce it.

from my understanding... nissar tunes both baban's and henna's bike(which is owned by nissar).

Both the bikes were disqualified....at the last drag.Reason being one had overbored ind barrel and other was running the rd 400 barrel....not very sure abt which bike the setup.

The rd 400 bike ran in the ind open:mad:
The overbored bike ran in the 350 class..

Let me clarify rumors regarding nisar and Baban Khan disqualification issue

1. Nisar and Baban Khan placed 1st and 2nd respectively. Nobody was disqualified.
2. Nisar's modded rx 135 was disqualified in the 150cc category for not meeting requirements (for the bike being 151cc and hence in the wrong category), bike been ridin by Mayur.
3. All bikes are gonna take part in Mumbai - 25th-26th feb.
4. Modded rx 135 gonna kick a**, if all goes well. Mumbai guyz, check this bike out (in yellow)....a must see, reverse compression....etc.
