Volkswagen Polo R Cup India 2014 registrations open

Volkswagen Motorsport India has announced the opening of registrations for the Polo R Cup India for 2014.

The series, which is in its fifth season, is open to everyone from novices to experienced racers. For novices, the Polo R Cup can be used as an introduction to track racing before moving to other events. Others can use it to garner more experience before stepping into the international arena or looking at more challenging events.

The fifth edition of the Volkswagen Polo R Cup in India was kicked off at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The first round of the championship was held between May 30 and June 1, 2014.

Race one was won by Angad Singh Matharoo, while race two went to Bonnie Thomas.
