If its the same car which was in banglore last yr in speedrun it clocked an amazing 13.8xx that was the fastest Zen & its not 13.2 either so forget about 12.8xx.
&
as far as my car is concerned i am afraid i wont be able to make it for Mumbai speedrun, may be banglore but not mumbai unless ACI postpone the event which i highly doubt, my car is not ready & i am in no mood to hurry things up.

800bhp Mustang- Got to be kidding. whats it running a 10 liter engine with a supercharger, magneto and nitromethane? The claims on this forum are leaving the realm of reality. Calculating 100bhp just for the filter?

Welcome to T-Bhp MustangMan!

And you've not even seen the 9 litre twin turbo Maruti Alto that clocks the quartermile in under 10 seconds...in reverse!

Yep, helps it launch off the line much quicker. Only problem is on the last run, the owner stuck his head out to get a better view and got blown out the window.

You obviously know nothing about tuning and engines. This, this, and this would get you 800 rwhp from a 'Stang. There are people doing it already.

How long will this engine go before blowing up?
these kinds of powers are possible surely, but surely so the life of these engines cant be more than a few drag races!!
Cant run 500 kms with full use of the power?

And,if the Mustang is coming out of Jaymahal area, the guy preparing it was given a massive-sky-is-the-limit budget,

So to achive the timing they wanted to achive do not be surprised if it already has most of the thing's mentioned above.

There are lot of guys who tune their engines specifically for the drags..then de tune in again when they are not racing....arent we discussing cars to watch out for in the speed run.

Well, it's a bit like a WRX or an Evo having a 5000-10000 km service interval, while a regular Accord may have a 20000 km interval. I've heard of Indicas going 40k without an oil change.

It really depends on how fast you want to go with how little, and how much you're willing to sacrifice.
