I am in with my Audi TT..

Participating Class..
1) Indian Forced Induction/Nitrous Class 1651 to 2050
2) Indian Open
3) Unrestricted ( Just for the heck of it to see where I actually stand as of now)

Some might wonder how in the Indian Class.. Well the TT is homologated with ARAI and hence comes in the Indian catagory...

Cheers

Mugen,

I hope this helps,...
For those coming from South Mumbai:
Trivial details to daily drivers, useful to others who think South Mumbai is the world
No offence meant, my wife belongs to that category too
- Drive to Dadar TT Circle
- Those on the East will proceed, those from the west take the Tilak bridge to join Dadar TT circle.
- At TT Circle, proceed towards Sion
- Take the Sion Flyover (landing point just before Everard Nagar (Watch your mobiles for location info))
- Take a right to Chembur at Sumanth Nagar junction (leaving the Eastern Express Highway)
- Proceed on the same road straight
- You will pass by Diamond Garden, RK Studios, BARC
- Proceed by staying on the main road (use flyovers always)
- Mankhurd to Navi Mumbai Octroi Naka on the same straight highway
- Proceed on the great long bridge over the sea
- Towards New Vashi toll gate (remember to pay your toll please, we Navi Mumbai people are proud of the roads)
- Proceed on the wide road ahead
- Take the flyover seen ahead
- Keep left as you descend
- Look for the left turn saying "Palm Beach Road / Sanpada"
- You will have to take the spiral descent on your left
- You will be joining the wonderful Palm Beach Road as you descend
- Proceed straight on Palm Beach Road for another ~ly 9 kms until Belapur signal
- Proceed straight at Belapur signal
- After ~ly 700 mtrs you will get to see a confusing junction
- In simplicity take the 2nd left and you must be ascending a bridge
- Proceed on it, once you descend this bridge, the road bends sharply to the right
- Proceed straight on the same
- You will come across a small circle
- Proceed straight (Kokan Bhavan and CIDCO office are located on either sides of this point)
- You will see a circle with the flyover (The Sion-Panvel highway in above you now)
- Drive under the flyover circle, straight into the road opposite to where you are now
- Take the right at the small circle that joins the road to Kharghar!
- Now it is a blisfull road with trees lined alongside.
- Keep driving until a Y fork, and proceed on the left side as the road bends to the left
- Keep driving until you see the UTSAV CHOWK
- There you are at Kharghar,... you probably can see the guide boards to the drag pitch by now

There are a few other options too (left to choice of the adventurers).
But I promise this will be pleasant drive after you leave Chembur
See you all there.

as mentioned, there are options.

in your route you will proceed until Uran Phata signal and take a right to join the steep climb that then descends to the Belapur's Sion-Panvel highway junction (the one I mentioned with the "Sion-Panvel Highway above you"). I normally avoid that due to the heavy vehicles that get stuck sometimes while climbing. nothing else.

Dippy, you have to use Palm Beach as they are currently doing some roadwork on the flyover just ahead.
