Thanks Rtech!! That was nice.
Sad not to see Naren's name on the list. Happy to see some family friends driving.

This is going to be exciting. Bikku Babu and Bonnie thomas will make a great duo in Esteem 1400 class. Jerry will be kicking up dust with Sangeeth Samuel too.

And those brave ladies! Hats off to you!!

hey, good luck jerish. about skoda and fiat, i dont think the co;s have applied for them to be [SIZE=-1]homologated. once that is done, i think they will enter. but also, the cost of spares would make the skoda prohibitively expensive to rally unless there is active participation from the company!

RSC is for carb. Esteem's running on either OE suspension or Koni's. the 1400cc class is open to all other homologated cars upto 1400cc, which includes the Gypsy, Gypsy King, Esteem Carb & MPFI.

The RSC is basically the novice class where one enters to get experience without competing directly with the big boys.

There is one Gypsy driven by Suredra Babu and Sheraz doing the Navigation.

The stage is all set.

Morning was the flag off. Some great personalities were present for the event. Our Man was cheered up by fellow team-Bhpians and was flagged off by his own wife.

Here is our man coming up the ramp.

The organisers were very much amazed by the enthusiasm Jerish's wife had for this event and handed her the flag!! (She waded thru the difficulty of being pregnant)!!!

Here is the happy couple and the flag off!!

The only woman driver this time.

Jerish!!! All set and ready to do it in the stages.

Gaurav Gill and Moosa Sheriff waiting for the flag off!!

The winner's Trophies!!

Update:
The Baleno driven by Renjith crashed in SS1. SS4 beginning now. More coming.... SO WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

Saw it on TV a few hours ago. There were a LOT of cars that participated i guess. Lots of MRF cars and lots of Balenos.

BTW...don't the drivers need the helmets?

Esteems are more than Balenos. Then Fiestas, Cedia and 1 Gypsy.

Out of 32 cars, one didn't and one couldn't start. 30 cars started. 6 MRF cars. 8 Kari sports cars. Ideal team has 3 cars. Chettinad racing has 4 cars. And some privateers.

This is transport and Helmets are not checked until Stages.
