Ferrari Hires Tata Consultancy Services

Ferrari have signed a deal with TCS [Tata Consultancy Services] to provide IT and engineering services for the devlopment of their car. TCS is the first Indian company to join the F1 group. Ferrari MD Jean Todt said that they always work with the best of companies and thats why they are on top today.

They showed a footage in which Luca di Montezemolo praised TCS. Anyway...a thing to be proud of. Lets see how this venture works!

I seriuously think that Ferrari have appointed Tata To develop software for their Road cars rather than F1 cars ...
i do not think that Ferrari F1 cars software will be provided by TCS ....
the deal is still quite hazy as to what kind of help TCS provides for Team Ferrari F1

No. They have been appointed for F1 cars and the software will be provided right from this 2005 Season.

This season will be interesting. Lets see how things work out.

And in the 2006 season, only 2 things can happen.

"Either TATA will say hello to Ferrari, or Ferrari will have to say "tata" to F1". Hehe

I guess they'll do well. Ferrari won't take a chance and TCS is a no nonsense company. There are a lot of brains out there.

I think if they have hired tata then they must be capable of doing the job. I mean its Ferrari and not Minardi. Ferrari wont take a stupid step that will ruins its image or position which they r holding right now.

NOOOOOO don't say that, do not under-estimate Minardi for more details on Minardi > Minardi - always a back runner??!

Minardi also wouldn't take chances! All F1 teams are sworn to secrecy and they'd want to do something that the rest will never be able to. So they will never take chances, even for that one point in the whole year!!
