Tom's ride for Autocar 2005

Credits/Technical inputs and engine done by Ron Chinoy of RD Dreams, Bangalore.

whoa! Thats one mean drag bike you got there tom. Did you consider putting a fairing in front to smoothen out the aero? Or would the added weight cancel out any aero avantage gained by that?

This is a project bike by Jaggu, myself and our good friend motor.
U need to be doing speeds in excess of 110mph to get any advantage from a fairing.

also i cant loacte the filter in the pic & if iam not wrong then u remove the filter during drags right ???

UNI's are the black thingie behind the frame at the intake end of carbs

Yup the air filters will be taken off on the drag strip.
We havent timed the current set-up yet. Hopefully this time we wont encounter any mechanical problems.

Hmmmm, but a fairing does make a huge diff to the aerodynamics! if that is the case, then why do bikes which run in the group C category run full fairing on track? they dont cross 110mph, however there is a lot of advantage of having a fairing!
u may get better figures wid one....just my 2 paisa!
