Honda not running well. Might be ignition problem. But no ways can a lancer beat a s2000.

Actually the Lancer Evo can. The Evo has around 280-290 bhp (300+ in the latest model), that would make it on par with the Honda NSX.

The Lancer Evo is very much capable of 13 sec 1/4 miles (even in stock form), where as a 2 ltr S2000 (stock) can manage around 14.2.

Technically a NOS S2000 should have been very very quick, but for some reason it isn't.

Fantastic Vids!! Keep up the good work. My god, the Lancer just threw the S2000 into the bushes and the Peugeot was awesome!!! Hope to see it in the Mumbai Speed Run!!

Gautam Singhania gets fingered at almost every drag he takes part in.

The Peugeot was there at last years speed run too!

Heres some close up pics. Is it the same one?

Doughnuts don't make a car fast. They just make your world go around. LOL

But one thing you must appreciate about the Lotus and the Beemer and the other stock cars (RS) which ran is the 0-quartermile-0 total distance.

The modified evos and the peug's took pretty much the entire length of the tarmac to come to a stand still, again some of them with great difficulty. I dont think the Lotus took more than about 50m to come to a manageable speed!!!

Actually, for reference, kunal kapoors EVO6 was .6 of a second faster than the s2k driven by karun chandok @speedrun 2003.

Gautam Singhania is actually a good driver... sometimes things just dont go right.... and i guess it sucks to have the press on your tail no matter what ie in terms of changing or trying to change peoples perceptions.
