Congrats Vishal! That was a great run, and you certainly ran Vignesh very close. His car is totally set up for this sort of event, so you were actually driving quicker than him. cheers:

Man! now we are talking Supercharged Indian cars. any idea whos the Tuner?
No, it's the other one. They came together, but the guy with the tattoo was driving the NA one. He's a friend, but I can't remember who tuned the car, offhand.

Phew!!! I was hoping it wasn't Satya (Infact, shouldn't not happen to anyone).

Actually, I saw Satya's car two weeks ago and the sound of the car was awesome and made me very curious. So I went up and introduced myself. Satya then showed me the super-charger install, I should say it was a very neatly done install. He has a very nice set up, with roll-cage, race-seats, rally steering, lowered suspension et all. In all the excitement, I forgot to ask him who did the super-charger install? Any one knows who did the super-charger install on Satya's car.

Also, does anyone have pics\videos of his esteem in action?

Hmm.. I remember the other esteem, do you remember what time he clocked? did he find a place on the podium?(not sure-AFAIK he did'nt) and the Tatooed guy also drove the SCed Esteem in the second Run if am right.

I have serious doubts on vignesh's car, I somehow feel it is an over-bored/stroked Zen block. There was a protest filed against him/his car by another podium finisher at the end of the day. But it was inconclusive and finally they gave him the trophy.

Vignesh is an amazing driver, and his car is well set up. I would give him the benefit of the doubt, as far as this goes. I've driven his car in COK, against Peter's 1300 Zen Steel, and it was left standing. So even if it is a 1300, it doesn't move like one.

YouTube - r1 crash.
Yikes! Scary.

Is he okay now? Seems like his back skid out, was there oil/sand on the road or was he coming in to the corner too fast and just too heavy on the rear brake?

R1 Crash!!!

That was his second patrice run.
His first run went well, guess the rider got a bit over confident and started the run with a Wheelie...
The place where he crashed was the Second sharp Right, he went a bit hard on the rear breaks, bike just lost control and he rear just went off the track.
Info on the rider from the organizer were, he was immediately rushed to hospital and he sustained injuries on his leg and hand.
Felt sorry for the rider!!!
