Heard from an "inside source" that MTV is desperately looking for participants for the Ahmedabad try-outs, since they have arranged this show on short notice and didn't have too much time to spread the word.

Any Ahmedabad TBHPians or others planning to give this a shot?

Volkswagen and MTV is looking for VW Polo's alter ego - the one with the right personality to match the new Polo. We are inviting all racing enthusiasts and speed demons, to test their skills on ground. Come with 3 people in your life that matter to you, when you take that curb zipping on a VW Polo. Bring along your girlfriend, your motor mechanic, the uncle who always saw Schumi in you or your teacher who spotted the motorhead in you when you flunked his paper!

But remember your speed behind the wheel isn't all that matters! At the city auditions you will be tested on a variety of driving and personality skills. 4 guys from 4 cities who have it in them to be VW Polo's ultimate twin will move on to the grand finale at Chennai and drive around in a Polo. He/she will stake claim to every driving enthusiast's ultimate wet dream- Winning a trip to Germany to experience the Volkswagen racing weekend @ Nurburgring!!

Ya , i was there . Will surely talk about it , but later , as need to run now.
P.s - we made it till the semi - finals , but lost to the girl gang. Mods please don't ban me for this .

Well i dont think it was , though my teammates thought it was as well lost due to a broken jack.

Actually the jack was not broken. It was the loops where you hook the jack rod which were split wide open instead of being parallel.
And it was the last jack ( out of four ) , hence we could not release the car off it before the girl gang.
