Phrozenfire:
The short notice has some tentative entires, Let me start with the confirmed ones

Confirmed entries:
1) RaajKS - Cedia Sports & Swift (May be)
2) Bottle - Palio 1.6

Tentative:
1) Sriraj (Elantra)
2) Brraj (??)
3) Megazoid (vtec - Hotbits suspensions and a PODIUM rally driver)
4) Sid (vRS)
5) Nikhil (Has said no, but knowing Nikhil I would like to keep the doors open)

There would always be a regular Chennai folks crowd, the numbers cannot be predicted for that.

Visaster:
PnP sessions is open for everyone.
Where you can bring your own stock car and drive along the track. Please remember that this is done only for FUN and it is not a racing event at all.

Thanks raajks
Neat stuff, that sounds interesting. How much do they charge for the day/hour for the high speed run on those track. I would love to do that some day. Adrenalin rush.
Enjoy the drive. Cheers.

Thanks you @ raajks

First - I missed this thread all this time.
Second - I was supposed to be in Wayanad at this time. Which I'm not.

My plans are a mess now. So not sure if I'll be able to come.
I'd love to.

Will update by evening.

EDIT :
2theMax - You game ?

With just four cars from our T-bhp forum it was a blast.
Pleasent wheather was another icing in the cake.
In a weird kind of way having less cars in the track was more fun as it gave us more track time.

Cars
-----
1) Honda vtec - yzfrj
2) Honda vtec - Hari (Megazoid)
3) Swift Vxi - Hari
4) Cedia Sports - raajks

With 30+ laps and 2 completely BALD front tyres, It was a FUN track day for me.
Kudos to my family (Parents & Brothers) who were brave enough to ride shotgun.
After I am graced by Nikhil with another set of tyres, I should be ready for the next track day.

It was fun

I came undecided if I should drive on the track.
2theMax was telling me to drive. We arrived a bit late and a cedia pulled up behind us we did't know it was raajks.

Hari took the car a did a couple of laps.

Then came Megazoid (Hari) . Its a typical petrol head thing I guess.
I knew the car but, did't know the "driver".

Hari x 2 were brain washing me and I finally gave up and drove on track.

It was overcast a temperature was low (compared to the normal 40+ C)
Cars were breathing much better and the tyres were not heating up.

Went out on track with 2theMax and raajks riding shotgun.
Hari (2theMax) took vtec out and was impressed with the power.
The I took Hari's (2theMax) swift it was a much easier task to keep the thing in the proper line compared to the vtec. But much slower. Swift brakes scary.

Had a chance to ride with Hari (Megazoid), he was doing consistent 2.20.x
Pig family, the "race" zen, messing up at C4/5 ensured we will not do a sub 2:20

It was a treat to ride shotgun with Hari, awesome car control.

The zen belonged to some bloke who does the nandi hill climb (has won the thing ?). It was FAST. It was blisteringly fast, doing around 2:05 consistently. You see it in the mirror and its already gone past you.

There was another race prepped esteem and an seemingly stock OHC with a huge spoiler.

After we were done for the day chatted away at trackside for some more time. We (Megazoid+1, 2theMax, myself) Had a coffee and a quick bite at Muskat Bakery and we parted ways.

There were only 7 cars in all. Still it was fun. This is the only "logical" way to burn up half a tank of petrol on a Sunday afternoon.

@raajks - Sorry buddy, I forgot to click a pic of your cedia. Even worse I did't manage to get the pic of all the 4 rides as you suggested.

Here is what I have.

No PS and all that, sun was hiding behind the clouds and the track looked as if we had a good pair of sunglasses on all the time.

Really nice day out. Only few cars. Lots of track time and very nice weather. I had a really nice time driving as well as watching. The prepared zen and esteem were mind blowing. Very very quick and rock solid handling.

@yzfrj

Wish you could pound that Honda a little more. Next time we do this with better brakes and see how we fare. Your car is very well maintained.

Dont know where you are with respect to solving the brake issue. You don't want to waste the power of such an awesome machine...do you?

@2theMax

Great to meet you man. Nice looking swift .Looks fab in the pictures.

Raaj

Good job of organizing the track day. Am sure you are already thinking of the next one now.

Yes, hopefully I'd have sorted all the problems before the next one.

No certainly not, now its like all go (and no Stop) literally.
Still doing it, looking for other pads maybe even rotors.
All the other bits seems to be doing fine. (Including rotors)

By the looks of it seems to be bedded in properly.

I'm thinking it is pad fade.
That is what we ended up in or chit chat yesterday.

Have started a thread to aid the research here -> http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/techni...solutions.html

2:20 is not bad. Maybe if you tune your suspension for the track, the car will perform better.

Did you guy take any vids of the PnP?

The car and the driver was pretty well, it was a combination of factors that prevented better time. I'm not sure about the setup, perhaps Megazoid can answer that.

No video, all the pics I have has been posted.
