Maruti Autocross is generally held in the month of December in Noida however this year i have not been able to get any details of the same.

I was there last time as a viewer and enjoyed the entire experience , this year i want to participate and would really appreciate if anyone out there has the details of the same so that i can start with the entry procedure.

Thanks for your help in Advance!

What a coincidence , Just saw an update from raj Kapoor on FB announcing the dates of the autocross 2010

Venue - India expo mart ( Greater Noida )
Dates - 25th and 26th Dec

Here's the link to download the forms

Northern Motorsport

Can someone also help me on how to get a FMSCI license? This license is required to fill the form for the Autocross 2010.

Is there anyone from TBHP participating in this event?

I Checked the NM website however there is no mention of the Chandigarh AC , you might want to check with Sunny Sidhu in that case.

Cool , in his gypsy i suppose.

Maybe some veterans can help answer 2 of my questions that i have in mind before getting into the autocross -

1) Is a full face helmet required or would a cricket helmet also do while doing the run ?

2) Does removing the backseat and speaker box ( i have one ) come under the category of modification?

Please help!!

Here is the updated list of BHPians participating in Autocross

Noidaboy - ?
LBM - Swift
Sorcenerator ( Abhey ) - Gypsy
Aman - Gypsy

Yikes! :Shockked:
Please use an ISI approved helmet atleast.
Not necessarily a full face one, but even one without the chin protection would do.

Are you getting this doubt because you're a Sikh?

I'm asking as it's been over 6-7 years that i rode a bike and the reson to quit riding was i was very uncomfortable riding with the helmet. It would be really tough for me to wear it while driving the car because it kind of blocks your vision IMO and i feel like a horse:Frustrati.

I know the helmet that you're referring to and will source one for the event. No, im not a Sikh.
