Audi Q5 cabriolet if launched will start a whole new section of MUV Carbriolet. Personally,I find cabriolets sexy but I am not too sure about this one. You can only decide upon this after seeing it in person , just like BMW X6

Convertible crossovers may not make a lot of sense, but Audi is reportedly considering a production version of the Cross Cabriolet concept.
Details are limited, but Auto Express says the model would retain the concept's two-door layout and canvas roof. Furthermore, the Q5 Cabriolet would have a bespoke interior which would help to justify the premium £40,000 ($65,375 / €45,700) price tag.
If approved, production could be limited to 5,000 units and the crossover would be built, in late 2012, by an independent contractor such as Magna Steyr or Valmet.

Actually not. There already is a MUV/SUV cabriolet. The Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet. Here's a pic for reference

Lets hope that Q5 Cabriolet doesn't sell in numbers, else other manufactures may look to come out with cabriolet versions too. Imagine, Porsche Cayenne Cabriolet

I second that! Porsche Cayenne Cabriolet? Ouch!
Though I seriously doubt Audi Q5 will get to its projected success (if at all, that is!).

Fudge!! I suggest they make 500 instead AND use them all for crash tests. One of the most hideous vehicle in modern times.
