As expected - priced a little higher than the sedan. No base 2.0 turbo in the US - so starts off with the 428 and the higher model being 435. Notably, the car is on the same wheelbase, is wider, a little less taller and beat this - slightly longer than the sedan.

I love the looks of the last 2-3 generations of the 3 series coupe. This one is not engaging my senses as much - but I have a feeling it will grown on me.

The car looks stunning ! Is it just me or does this actually look better than the 6 series ?

And it costs just £3000 over the normal 320d in the UK. It could be a game changer if we get a similar price difference and get the 420d under 40L ex showroom.

If I understand correctly, it carries the same chassis as the 3, same dash and the same engine options. Sounds like it could be assembled in india. :D

It could, but even at 40L, I don't think it would generate enough volumes to justify it. Cars like the E Class Coupe or the Evoque Coupe hasn't exactly caught the fancy of the average Indian executive car buyer. Even in Mini's case, BMW just assembles the more practical and high-selling Countryman, rather than the Cooper/S Coupe/Cabriolet range. India's not exactly a coupe-friendly country, as of now.

435i M Sport Spotted in Black! The official photographs didn't excite me and didn't do justice to the car's beauty IMO but this set surely makes the upcoming 4er desirable!

How badly I wish that! It would create a riot if its priced below 40L!! lol: Not sure whether we will get the regular variants or only the M4 like it was the case with the E92!
