Lose those little shards of camouflage , and those pictures would effortlessly sit pretty in any premium car rental catalog across Europe, advertising honeymoon drives and what not. This your quintessential convertible. But for me, this will be overshadowed by the sportier and sexier coupe!

I so agree with you there, precisely for the reason that i would never buy an convertible (especially the soft tops) but would love to rent one for a week or so.
Some how hard tops are making a good case for themselves like the Z4 & this 4 series too.
In this picture below you can see both the coupe(F32) & convertibles(F33) are pictured side by side and there is very less distinguishing difference between them which is again a good thing :)
PS - However i would have loved if the F33 would have maintained its boot's shape same as the F32 :thumbs up

I like soft-tops, but on a much sharper car, like the Boxster, or on an exotic, like the Virage Volante.

This F33's profile will remind us of the outgoing model, which isn't bad!:)
German automaker BMW revealed the M Performance Parts program for its new 4 Series Coupe model at a press conference this week in Lisbon, Portugal.
To showcase the new program, BMW also unveiled a 2014 4 Series Coupe fitted with M Performance parts, basically previewing the upcoming M4 Coupe. The new M Performance parts will allow customer to fit their vehicles with a new front splitter, rear diffuser, black kidney grilles, black side skirts, M Performance stripes, new wheels and carbon fiber mirror caps.
Inside, the M Performance program will offer an Alcantara covered dashboard, a new steering wheel, upgraded seats, carbon fiber trim, contrast stitching, stainless steel footrest and pedal covers, M Performance floor mats, and many more. More importantly, M Performance also means that the new 4 Series will be fitted with a limited slip differential.
The M Performance will become available as a complete body kit, but customers will be able to acquire each part individually.

This one from Top Gear probably sums it up best:
"Q: Is it a real sports car or a smart-looking sporty car?
A: The latter. But a brilliant one, relaxing and well-built for the everyday grind, and immaculately resolved for recreational driving. Of course it could be sharper, louder, more stimulating and edgy."

Chris Harris gets 4 laps on the Estoril Circuit in the new 435i. It is a short video where he questions BMW' new nomenclature and a bit of boredom on a brilliant car. Enjoy!
