Ferrari Superamerica 45 - Revealed! Yet another one from the Special Projects Dept.

Quote:
WCF:Ferrari has released the first pictures of the Superamerica 45, ahead of its debut at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.
Commissioned by New York real estate mogul Peter Kalikow, to celebrate his 45th year as a Ferrari owner, the one-off model features an exclusive Blu Antille exterior (which matches Kalikow's 1961 Ferrari 400 Superamerica convertible), a chrome grille, burnished aluminum accents and two-tone wheels. Additionally, the car is outfitted with a carbon fiber rotating hard-top that is similar to the glass roof used on the 575M Superamerica.
While no interior pictures were released, Ferrari says the cabin has Cuoio leather upholstery, Blu Scuro carbon fiber trim and a touchscreen infotainment system.

It's the same as the SA Aperta!! Difference being only the paint job and interiors.

The Superfast Aperta was the worst IMO. Off late, the SP Dept simply takes a 599, make it look ugly and they're Done!

The P4/5 is the only SP creation that I truly love.

Which has now been transformed by the owner into P4/5 Competizione. Pheww!

I was talking about the SA Aperta which is a limited edition top down version of the 599. This 'new' special project Superamerica 45 looks exactly the same. Except that Superamerica has a glass roof instead of the fabric one.

Peter Kalikow also had a custom built 612 Scaglieti. And since this is a superamerica i guess the roof will fold away so that can it also be a convertible.
