Not unless you are in the middle of a battlezone with enemy gunfire targeting you as drive over a path stewn with landmines. Thats the sort of situation to which the LMV owes its existence. Its 6 odd ton weight is powered by an upgraded 145 kW F1C engine, from the Iveco daily LCV. I really dont see a market in Europe for a Euro-hummer of sorts. That kind of madness needs the open arm welcome of an american audience or middle east oil money. Not sure if Iveco \ Fiat will invest in a niche vehicle that will find no takers in Europe. | |
