VW releases Polo R-Line and Passat Exclusive in Germany

"VW has released a pair of R-Line packages for its diminutive hatchback that at least make it look the part.

The exterior R-Line trim package comes with wider wheels in either 16-inch diameter or 17, new bumpers front and rear, rear spoiler and diffuser, chrome exhaust tips, side skirts, fog lamps and gloss black grille. The interior package, meanwhile, gives the cabin Alcantara or leather trim, sport buckets, black headliner, a new steering wheel, piano-lacquer trim and aluminum pedals. Both kits can be fitted to either the Comfortline or Highline trim levels, and appear, for the time being, to be limited to the German market."

Will it make to India? The 16" wheels looks cool.

Re: VW releases Polo R-Line and Passat Exclusive in Germany

If that R-line package makes it to India volkswagen can really use that as a trumpcard to bump up their sales! The car looks stunning with this kit!!
Instead of thinking on those lines VW would probably be thinking of stripping down a few more features like power windows, central locking etc etc and bring a corporate edition of the polo!!!! I have no idea why we Indians always get the raw end of the deal!!

Another example of their attitude towards us can be seen with the skoda rapid. We a get a skoda fabia with a stretched backside while the rest of the world will get a skoda based on the mission "L" concept!! Is that fair??? I think not!!

Seems VW Polo R line is coming with new dress, Good to hear the bigger wheel and the better interior. In fact Polo previous version was bit expensive than I20 and swift. Any price cut in this.

Re: VW releases Polo R-Line and Passat Exclusive in Germany

Now daytime LED lights to Austian Polo.

"Last month Volkswagen supplemented a new variant to the Austrian arsenal using the Polo carline dubbed ‘Polo Sky’
Featuring sunroof (the reason behind the variant name), automatic climate control, 15-inch alloy wheels, rain sensor, gray center console finish and ‘Livon’ upholstery, the Polo Sky receives attractive daytime running LED lights to its headlight assembly
The Austrian market is a fortunate one as it gets the highly sought-after 1.2 TSI petrol engine making 104bhp and 1.6-liter TDI (from Vento) making 105bhp. The Indian market rates fuel efficiency higher over performance and Volkswagen has not brought down the high-end variants for the same reason."

Would any of these make it to the Indian Market as optional accessories atleast?
