James Bond swaps Aston Martin for a Mondeo

I dont think this news has much credit..

I am sure Ford must have paid 14m quid for their exclusivity but not for mondeo, but for their entire range..they will probably have the new mondeo in it along with some other cars.

I have read that its going to be the prototype of all new Aston Martin Vanquish..or they are code naming it DBX...

so what you will see is an early renderings of the all new vanquish to be named DBX...you think bond will settle for anything less...

even though aston is claiming its only a one of car called DBX, but do you really believe..all the clues for the next vanquish will come from there..and my gut feeling is that its the new vanquish..

yes thats what i had meant DBS...but at the time i wrote my prev post DBX made more sense..i dont know y..i guess X stands for 10 and after DB9 comes 10

oh well this might be in it...and i sure hope so...though aston needs to do something different..all their designs look the same..they should have resemblance but thats it..not look the same..and one be a smaller ver of the other..

Bond producers replacing Aston for £14 million???. They must be crazy enough to spoil BOND's image. At least ford should have gone with jaguar....

please remember 1 thing though.

How much of a big blunder the news people print it still remains a bond movie and until now most bond movies have been money rakers.

I am no fan of Daniel Craig or Ford mondeo(compared to the suave Aston Martins)

but then certainly the movie bosses would have had something in mind

IMHO.. Its good thing. We get to see a ALL NEW JAMES BOND WITH ALL NEW CAR instead of Aston all the time. Time for change we all can say now. :P

Now james bond will also say "Make everyday Exciting" .

Mondeo is a great car but definitely not "James Bond" class. They should have stuck with the Aston Martin. Now what will they come up with next? Ummm let me guess..... a car designed by DC ?

The next bond movie will have maruti baleno and the one after that we will see our own desi James starring in the movie driving a maruti 800.

what's surprising is that Daniel Craig being a Brit can't drive a manual!

he's a good actor (Road to Perdition, Layer Cake & Munich) and i'm sure he'll be able slip into Bond's shoes with ease, however, a Bond movie isn't complete without his traditional cars - and the tux, ofcourse....
