Bristol Cars bought by Indian Group

This isn't new info but hasn't come on the forum so..

Bristol Cars which had gone into administration has been bought over by UK based Indian businessman Kamal Siddiqi through his Kamkorp Group which also owns Fraser Nash research a unit that is into hybrid and electric vehicle technologies.

Some facts about Bristol Cars:

1. So rare and exclusive that it would make Morgan look mass-market.
2. Bristol has a lot of die-hard fans (know some of them) but obviously not sufficient enough to keep the cash registers ringing long enough.
3. Did not allow the press anywhere near their cars or the factory - including a certain Mr.Clarkson who was obviously miffed at this treatment.
4. This attitude towards the press did not do them any favours and earned them quite a few bad reviews, but their fans weren't really bothered.
5. Bristol never disclosed their sales or any other numbers - in hindsight probably for very good reason.

Kamkorp are yet to announce their plans for the brand.

Handsome car that Bristol Blenheim. I saw a few at the Beaulieu Motor Museum and the other Motor Museums in Bourton-on-the-water and in York too. That car has really powerful and expensive looking lines.
