TATA Nano - Left Hand Drive - Is pic correct? EDIT : It's a Photoshopped image

Saw this picture in the Indianautosblog site today... the picture of a left hand drive Tata Nano, but what I could not understand was the placing of the pedals! Is the accelerator pedal positioned to the left side in a LHD car?

It's been flipped. Even check the speedometer needle.
In LHD cars, the pedals do not get flipped, the accelerator pedal is still on the right foot.

Vinair,
This seems to be a mirror image of the RHD Nano.
No matter which side you drive, the pedals do not change their position.

Looks to be a mirrored image.
look at the display console.

This surely has to be photoshop work. As far as I know, RHD and LHD have the same orientations of the pedals for acceleration, clutch, and brakes. Also, if you look at it closely, in the speedometer, the needle is pointing towards the max speed, which obviously cannot be true as the picture is a still. IMO, this is just a reversed photo.

Its very obvious that this was a mirrored image. Otherwise IMO, there would've been many more accidents with people driving both LHD and RHD cars.

I also think that actual image (as shown by Tejas@perioimpl) has some irregularities.
See the pedals, they are almost at the centre of the car.
Just imagine the pain in a person's body driving a car with such a pedal positioning.

Even the wiper seems to have automatically changed its position. This is a very cheap joke that some one is trying & that person should be really sorry for this.

Hey wait, on IAB it is clearly mentioned that they have mirrored the image. It is just for illustration purpose that how the LHD Nano would look.

I guess it is due to the exaggerated perspective you get with wide angle lens.
