Re: Ken Block's Gymkhana FIVE | Ultimate Urban Playground - San Francisco

Saw this video a few days ago, its simply brilliant One of the best gymkhana videos IMO. But I fail to understand, if Ken Block is such a brilliant driver, why didn't he click in WRC

I am spellbound after seeing this video. Most of the drifts are next to impossible. And yes the side-ways jump stole the show for me. Superb combination of a great machine and an impeccable driver. Hats-off to this guy.

Sure he's a good driver, but the fact is that all the WRC drivers could drive like in this video -- and maybe some would do it in less takes.

One of the comments on the video said that the tyre marks you see on the road before Ken Block runs the course are from earlier, when Loeb was showing Ken how to do it

Watched the video, and loved it. I mean it need so much of precision while simply driving the car on normal roads, and this guy can drift it all over the place. The timing should be so perfect when the bouncing car is coming down and to pass under it. Hats off to Ken. And if at all ever that mustang is for sale, i want it, i want it so BAD

Ken Block's Climbkhana:

Man, this guy is good. What makes the video amazing is that most of the takes are first takes. Observe the roads, there are no thread marks prior to this drive. 1400 HP with 156 turns this video is a cliffhanger.
