Forbes Ugliest cars of 2013

Forbes has come out with its list of ugliest cars of 2013

It is really surprising to see some reputed names!

In my personal opinion, these studies have no real meaning and its completely up to the buyer to decide what is beautiful or ugly! Anyways, take a look at it for total some TP (time pass!!)

Yes, these things are meant purely as entertainment value and have no significance/bearing whatsoever.

All the same, the McLaren P1 concept is really hideous and for me, takes the cake. Looks like an ugly cross between an apple and a human face. It even has twin nostrils to accentuate this!! This would have to be the Shrek of 2013 cars.

A little surprised to see the Dodge Charger and the Mini make that list. Surely they ain't the ugliest things going around!

Forbes should stick to what it is good at - money matters and leave the beauty of an automobile for others to decide. I mean, how can they term Mini as ugly?

I think whoever compiled this collection, came up with the title first and then went around the web to find some ugly cars and ended up pasting whatever he found without giving a thought to how they look. I think majority of the cars shown actually look good and no where near the term 'ugly'.

Beauty is very subjective. Ugly for one is beautiful for the other.
I find the p1 quite appealing while for some it may be ugly. As stated, such studies are just for name-sake and shouldn't be considered seriously as far as it is not a T-BHP survey.

I'ts quite funny, I enjoyed going through the top 10. I would agree there are some miss-match on each model and don't look like an OEM design.

It's like MTV / Fox News consulting Google for a picture of the late Pandit, and posting Shri Shri's picture instead!

That said, this particular Mini is ridiculous! I wouldn't classify it as one of the top-ten ugliest cars, but it definitely isn't a sight for sore-eyes. The Mini Cooper hatch is very good looking, sure! But not the Mini Cooper Coupe. That baseball-cap roof looks positively out of place on that hatch-like body-style.

Forbes has obviously not seen any of DC's creations!

The Scions and the Avenger were pretty ugly, but I thought the rest were not so bad. The Mini should never have been on that list.

And for some cars, theyve actually picked out the best angled shots to say, "THIS, this is ugly!".

I think the new Fiat 500L gets my vote as an unattractive auto-mobile considering that I really like the regular 500. The larger version just seems out of proportion.

The list IMO was made by Forbes for a good laugh. Although few cars on the list do look ugly.

Scion iQ was desgined surely by someone with really low iQ. The huge tyres on a small body make it look even more uglier. Merc SL on the list, Forbes need to re examine do they really want to publish the list?

One should call it "Hannah Elliott's list of ugly cars" and leave it at that.

Personally for me most tiny cars are ugly (not by performance or sales or quality, but based solely on looks), because they simply do not have the freedom of dimensions to score on the aesthetic scale. Nissan Leaf (in fact,most Nissans), Mini, Kia Soul, all of the tiny Toyotas, the smaller Subarus, and among the not so small, the Infiniti FX, the recent Acuras and such others could be classified as ugly.

The Pontiac Aztec was and will remain the king of ugly, though, for many many years to come.

I know that "beauty is subjective" is a classic cliche but generically speaking, more than half the cars there are actually pretty decent and acceptable. Some of those on the list look so contrived it is not even funny!!

Forbes ought to stick to what they do best and leave this business to the experts!
