Awesome imagination and photography!

I have one question though. Where did he get such empty and nice roads in India? Have to find some myself to take some nice pics.

The R1-Gixxer pics were shot at Nagercoil-Tirunelveli Highway via Aralvaimozhi (Wind Farm Road).

They got miles and miles of amazing tarmac there with some breathtaking backdrop.

Though the heavy duty post processing is quite obvious - the sheer talent has to be appreciated Its feels good to see another Indian name associated to one of the biggest/ most respected names in automotive journalism.

Re: Young Indian Photographer strikes it large at Top Gear Middle East!

From what amateur photography skills I have (couldn't ever afford a real DSLR to carry the hobby forward), it looks like Mr. Arun has a brilliant knowledge of lens selection, exposure, focus and ISO. Maybe a little bit of help from Adobe Light Room for small adjustments to make individual colors stand out but not anybody can take pics like these by putting an expensive DSLR in auto mode. He needs to know exactly what he wants to see before and after clicking. This ladies and gentlemen, is true art!

Re: Young Indian Photographer strikes it large at Top Gear Middle East!

Couple of months back my brother told me, there was a guy who used to do bike stunting back in my hometown is now a photographer at TG Middle East. I was like

Then i came to know that it's the same guy who took those amazing bike pics and after that I have been following this guy through FB

At Dubai Chase, a drag/drift racing festival, while i was watching/clicking pics of drift challenge, i heard the guy with a huge camera standing next to me speaking Malayalam. Oh It was our "photographer" there to cover the event for the magazine

Waiting for more awesome pics & Wishing you all the best Arun!!!

Brilliant work by this chap. Remember when Vishnu showed me the pics of R1 shoot and i was amazed by this guy's talent. And to top it all is the job in TG. Passion as work, what more one could look forward in life.

Good luck boy, amazing career ahead !!

Though i feel too much of editing in his TG pics, esp Infinity shoot.

Sheer talent, a keen eye for the right click and tech wizardry is what makes a beautiful shot! This guy has it all. Kudos to his excellent work and good luck to him. I wouldn't be surprised if I end up seeing his work on the Top Gear mag cover photo some day!

Truly drool worthy pics. What talent the guy has got.
Those super-bikes are all awesome stuff.
Feels good to see an Indian chap doing so good in the International scene.
Hope he has a very very bright career with TG ahead. Would love to see more of his clicks, if there is any link, can it be posted?

Thanks Scorcher!

Re: Young Indian Photographer strikes it large at Top Gear Middle East!

Really amazing end results! absolutely drool worthy!

Even though there might be quite a bit of post-processing I am sure 99% people wouldn't be able to get this result. Not everyone can write "Macbeth" if they have a typewriter/laptop

Kudos to him!

Re: Young Indian Photographer strikes it large at Top Gear Middle East!

These are fantastic pictures, and thanks for sharing them. Arun has great sense of composition and lighting. His use of the sun imaginatively when it can actually play spoilsport with photos shows a natural gift for the art. Most of his photos dont show the entire vehicle in full focus, a mistake many of us make. His images evoke more than awe for the machine in the process, a sort of drama thats so important to make a good picture great. Keep up the good work Arun. Great are the people who provide joy to others. You join their rank now.
