Fiat contemplates Low Cost Brand

Came across an interesting news item :

http://europe.autonews.com/apps/pbcs...#axzz2JzmSBCmV

It seems that Fiat is seriously contemplating a low cost brand, like what DACIA is to Renault. Intended target price around Euro 7400.

Article also hinted that FIAT is considering reviving the INNOCENTI moniker once again. The company has also realised such a vehicle will be very difficult build in Europe because of the high cost structures of Continental Europe and development of this project may take place outside Europe.

Can we see this headed towards India? Maybe even development in India? Unbeknownst to many Fiat-Chrysler has a huge R&D unit in Chennai!
