The pics look drop dead gorgeous sharp. Hope 90% is this makes it to production.
From the video the front profile from the side looks like a Mustang influence.

Hope the interiors are equally striking. and 325+ hp please in a light chassis.

Love it!

However - the front would not have looked out of place in the Jaguar family of vehicles. Certainly not Subaru's design language. But that doesn't take anything away from the car! Its still a beauty.

I hope they remain true to the concept.

With Subaru's history of concept to production looks - I would really doubt if this car looks like it does now when mass production starts. They are notorious in turning out ugly cars. My only other criticism of the WRX is that they have softened it successively every year. With the Evo XI going to be an experimental power plant (hybrid, I hear), the WRX will be the flag bearer for its class of cars. It better be the boy racers wet dream when it comes out!

Looks great. And thankfully, it is a 3 box sedan and not a hatch. Eager to see full scale model than these graphical illustrations.

I have a very soft corner for the WRX. I just don't know how to explain it. Every time JC does a Japanese showdown in TG, I always wanted the Subaru to come out on top.

It is also the most expensive die-cast model that I have.

Ever since Subaru showed us the WRX Concept, most of us had gone cross-eyed and was dying to see the production model.

It seemed Subaru was harking back to its hairy-chested, testosterone pumping good ol' days.

Well good news, the first of the testmules have been caught testing. The powerhouse is expected to be a 4-cylinder 2.0 Boxer, but whether it will be turbocharged is not known yet.

The unmasked (in blue) design looks very good but somehow the masked one looks very conventional and doesn't seem to be the same as the blue car.

It's a far cry from the spectacular concept. Most probably its just a test mule - a WRX in Impreza's clothing!

The masked car somehow resembles the Evo but cant judge this since these masked cars try and resemble other cars. This way the general public will mistake it for another brand. But I doubt whether they will bring the LED headlights. Might be of similar shape with a LED DRL. It will go for the usual suburu styling with a xenon projectors. Same with the tail lights.
