MacLaren has revealed the details of Mclaren P13, Porsche 911 rival, which are as under:

1. Twin-turbo 3.8-litre V8 engine with 444bhp;
2. Carbonfibre MonoCell chassis, seen on the 12C & adapted into the MonoCage in the P1;
3. Asking price around £120,000; &
4. Styling directly influenced by the larger P1 hypercar.

The model will be going on sale in early 2015.

McLaren is reportedly working on another super car - the P15, which will sit between the 12C and the P1 in an expanded line-up. The £40k supercar is in the early stages development, McLaren Automotive chief executive Mike Flewitt has confirmed to Autocar-UK (http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/ne...rcar-confirmed).

Following details have been confirmed:
1. The car will use a mid-mounted turbocharged engine, which would be a heavily revised version of the 12C's twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V8.
2. It would get the now-familiar carbonfibre tub chassis, which sits at the core of all McLaren's road cars.
3. The P15 likely to go on sale for around £400,000.
4. The arrival of P15 later in the decade.

McLaren has officially confirmed that they will launch the Sports Series in the second quarter of 2015. Internally known as the 'P13', the McLaren Sports Series will join the range below the 650S. The British automaker says the Sports Series will be a "pure McLaren", building on the credentials of the McLaren P1 and 650S. An official release went on to add, that the series will bring Formula 1 technologies and know-how to a segment that is new for the brand.
