As part of an Incentive trip, I along with selected personnel from various BMW dealerships across India had been on an all expences paid 5 days trip to Munich in October 2011. Yeah, you read it right, 2011. I am full 2 years late in posting this photologue  thanks to my laziness. Anyways, since this was purely a leisure trip, the itenary was sightseeing of Munich for a day and the following:
Since I had visited Munich earlier for trainings, had been to the BMW Welt and the Museum there. Regarding the BMW Classic Museum, had not heard of it before and very little information available about it, so was not very keen on it. But boy was I wrong! Its a paradise for motorheads, the number of legendary cars preserved here in a clinic like atmosphere is mind boggling! Along with some cars never heard/imagined of before. So here I will be sharing only the photographs of the BMW Drive Experience and the Classic German beauties as I do not recollect much information of them and since we were short on time and me being the only one mad after clicking each of them had to click as and when possible. Many unseen Beauties First up, the BMW Drive Experience: Since none of us had International driving Licence's, we were asked to make a International Driving Permit (IDP) from your local RTO. It was a days job of submitting the forms and documents as per requirement and costed around Rs.3000! Could be done in much less, but since we were short on time and had gone through an agent it worked out expensive. So the day we were scheduled for the drive experience, it was a very cloudy and cold day. Thankfully it did not rain. On reaching there we were greeted by a line up of red 120i's, which was disappointing. As we had very high expectations of driving M3's   We were greeted by the extremely professional and experienced team there who first gave a short presentation and video demo of what all will we be experiencing today. The list included:
    Post the crisp and informative briefing, we were eager to drive on the track, and this is what greeted us once we were on the track! BMW E90 330i Sedans and Coupes performance tuned by BMW M!!   The instructors were in even more nimble 135i's!    A short round of briefing and we were all set! Each car had a walkie talkie and a car number and were given instructions which ensured everything went off smoothly!  A traffic jam we would LOVE!  Yours truly trying out the Slalom Course    Lined up for the ABS test    Trying out the evasive manoeuvre    Starting off for the Timed track  Getting ready to Drift!  As we were busy enjoying the Drifting session, not many pics were clicked! All in all was a very satisfying day to thrash these agile monsters in controlled circuit!! The entrance to paradise!  Scale model kept in the reception area  The Reception  Once in the display area, we were permitted to click photos, and straight away we found ourselves in a Barn! These cars and bikes are displayed in exactly the same condition in which they were found, including all the stuff that was present in the garage. The owner did not want to refurbish these cars and to honour him they created this set up.            |

All in mint condition, did not know which one to click, which one to miss!! Vintage    Classics        Track Bikes of the Good Old Days!    A Bike which toured the World!   A dead frog attached to the grill!  Scooters!   A Designer C1!   Cross Country C1! A few random immaculate classics        Few Cop Cars over the ages      These two Red beauties had some interesting story about one being designed in Germany and the other in Italy, can't ercollect the exact story though. But that's nothing when you see the V16 Engine plonked in a E32 7 Series!!   No zats okie, but how do we kool ze engine you say?? Well wat is ze boot for? Put ze Radiators in there!!
