SsangYong X100 compact crossover to be called Tivoli

SsangYong has officially announced the prices of the Tivoli compact SUV in the UK along with the details of the model’s diesel engine that would most likely be the motor chosen for the Indian market, if the model is launched here. The Tivoli is available with a 1.6L, 4-cylinder diesel engine that makes 113.4 BHP and a 1.6L, 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 126 BHP. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission that send power to either the front wheels or to all 4 wheels through an “Intelligent 4x4 system”.

No one will say Tivoli is from SsangYong at the first glance. And thats a big compliment. But this still is a very busy design, and somehow all the different bits doesn't gel together that well. I much prefer the Korando. But considering how SsangYong' designs been in the past, this is a step in the right direction.

With the Crossover wars heating up in India -Mahindra mulling Ssanyong Tivoli for India

The first product from Ssangyong under Mahindra, Tivoli gets its name after the Italian town Tivoli, Lazio. It reads 'i lov it' in reverse.
Available in 6 speed manual and 6 speed aisin automatic.

It's size looked almost similar to Baleno, Elite i20.

Going by the tailights and the rear profile, seems like Ssyangyong Tivoli on a test run. This has been spotted umpteen times already and there is probably a thread for it too.
