Though it is heavily camouflaged, keeping in mind the shape & the next in line XC model to go into 2nd gen this clarifies it being a XC60 mule

Volvo had previously announced the all-new XC60 will adopt a sportier styling compared to its bigger brother (XC90) which was created as a more luxurious offering.

This should be out my mid next year & hopefully we can expect it to reach Indian shores by late next year

Volvo reinforces its core value - SAFETY , in the New XC 60!

This is another step towards Volvo eliminate fatalities involving cars. The Swedes announced that, from 2020 nobody dies or is seriously injured coming Volvo car.

today the manufacturer decided to disclose the new safety feature. It is the automatic bypass threats. A similar system a month ago boasted Lexus at the launch of the new generation of model LS.

It does work in the way that when our car for example, run out the path, Volvo not only will begin braking, but also will try to bypass the danger of changing course. This feature will be available at a speed of between 50 and 100 km/h.

Volvo XC60 will also monitor vehicles heading from the opposite direction on the adjacent Lane, and in the event that one of them suddenly descended on our path also avoided the collision. In this case, the system works at a speed of between 60 and 140 km/h.

A third option for safety, which also gained the automatic change of the track is a system monitoring the BLIS blind spots. When auto detect that we begin to perform the dangerous maneuver, sending us back to the previously occupied lane.

Volvo XC 60 revealed, looks like a baby XC 90!

There’s a definite family resemblance to the XC90, however, especially inside. The dashboard, seats and upholstery will all be familiar to XC90 owners; the same 8.0-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital dial displays feature.

The new model is 62mm longer, 12mm wider and 14mm lower than the outgoing XC60, and the 91mm-longer wheelbase means there’s more legroom in the rear.

At launch, all models will be four-wheel drive and use an eight-speed automatic gearbox - but as with the XC90, only four-cylinder engines will be available. The range starts with the 187bhp D4 and 232bhp D5 diesels, which will make up the bulk of sales, but there will also be a T8 plug-in hybrid with 401bhp and an all-electric range of 35 miles. Finally, a T5 petrol with 251bhp will satisfy those who want more performance.

When I saw the first video of it from the Geneva show, that was exactly my first reaction! Flat bonnet and big front grille does make it look like an F-Pace which is not a bad thing at all!

It catches the eye of someone who is not even interested in the product or the class of vehicle. That's how the Brand is built.
