Suzuki Showcases Ignis

In Europe, the Ignis will be a direct competition to the Fiat Panda 4×4 and it will be powered by a 1.2-litre DualJet petrol and 1.0-litre BoosterJet petrol engines. It will be manufactured and exported to Europe from the Maruti’s plant in India. Maruti will be launching it in India sometime in 2016. This will be followed by tests in India with some tweaking to product to meet the Indian conditions. The car will also feature the SHVS or Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki, recently seen in the Maruti Ciaz and Ertiga. In Europe, this will alsofeature Suzuki’s AWD system.

Suzuki announces its exhibits for the 2017 Tokyo Motor show,

The theme for the Suzuki booth this year is “EXCITEMENT for Everyone, in Everywhere”. Since its foundation, Suzuki has focussed on creating fun and unique products of small cars, motorcycles, motorised wheelchairs, and outboard motors for the customers to enjoy the usefulness. Suzuki, as the brand celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2020, will introduce our initiatives in development of products and technologies for ongoing success in the next 100 years.

The concept cars will include the e-SURVIVOR, a compact SUV in independent four-wheel-drive system with independent wheel motors; the SPACIA CONCEPT, a tall miniwagon that offers a sense of excitement and fun; and the XBEE (cross-bee), a crossover wagon of whole new genre.

Suzuki e-Survivor Concept Revealed Ahead of 2017 Tokyo Motor Show,

The e-Suriver believes should be having even more off-road fun, admittedly in an environmentally friendly, purely electric way.

The e-Survivor is 3,460mm long, 1,645mm wide, 1,655mm wide and has a tiny wheelbase of only 2,300mm. What that makes it is smaller even than most city cars

However, the electronics equipment is inspired by the latest trends. There's an enormous panoramic screen going along the whole dash and a 3D globe for the navigation. The passenger gets "news" while the driver receives his speed and traction details right on the steering wheel. However, the speedometer is analog... because you need that in an EV.

This fantasy vehicle has high levels of articulation, amphibious capabilities and a independent power for each wheel

Suzuki has revealed the e-Survivor concept, a small, tough, convertible SUV, at the Tokyo motor show. It previews the next Gen Vitara and Jimny.

the e-Survivor is all-electric. It is illustrated to have an electric motor inside all four wheels, giving electric four-wheel drive. Overall, the concept is a little wider and longer than the current Jimny.

Ultra-high ground clearance, huge wheel arches and almost nonexistent overhangs suggest class-leading approach and departure angles, and knobbly tyres cement its off-road ability. Suzuki also claims that lightweight construction is employed to improve this capability even further.
A screen on the centre of the steering wheel, and one making up the lower portion of the windscreen, with integrated augmented reality demonstrations of the outside world in front of the car, complete the futuristic infotainment system

In spite of the far-ahead projection, the e-Survivor still has a steering wheel and driver controls, suggesting that Suzuki predicts full autonomy will not reach this area of the mark

1.“WAKU Spo”

A personal compact PHEV that can be shared with family members for fun and excitement, regardless of generation, for everyday use or hobbyist use.
The A-segment compact body is equipped with an exciting switch that switches between the body shape, front mask, and interior display content. In response to the fun and excitement of each person, the car changes, and we propose a future “small car” that can be shared with everyone.

2. HANARE:

In an ultra-efficient society using AI and robots, the self-driving car that cherishes the human needs such as “people's connection” and “people's commitment” and proposes a new pleasure to own a car.

Suzuki displays its exhibits at the ongoing Tokyo Motor Show:

WAKU SPO : A personal, compact plug-in hybrid that shares fun and excitement, anywhere, anywhere. Waku Waku’ switch that can customise the car by allowing users to “switch its body shape, front mask and content shown on the dashboard”, so the car “can transform to meet each and everyone’s fun and excitement”.

Its rear morphs from an estate-style car to a coupe by retracting the estate section. Ogisu said: “At first, it is a wagon model, but then it changes to a coupe model. If it is a coupe model, you can enjoy driving, if it is a wagon, then rear seat space is much bigger.”





The Hanare : A Japanese term for a small dwelling built to the side of a home – is an autonomous pod-style vehicle designed for an “efficiency-centric future”. Suzuki says the machine would allow users to work or rest during long journeys, with the Hanare capable of being customised for different uses and to the requirements of different users.






Hustler concept:Adds toughness and strength to the current hustler. The urban outdoor style model was on display along with the basic model, and according to Mr. Suzuki, "we are currently preparing for commercialization."
