Just a small correction i.e. M50d is a QUAD
Thanks for correcting. Wish, they had something similar for X5 or 5 series in the pipeline.

BTW, expect these in showrooms around June.

Well, after seeing all these creatures from MB & BMW, somehow Toyota looks Angelina Jolie

A M550d & X5 50d would be crazy but needs to be well under 1 cr. Ex-Showroom for it to make sense financially (for the target buyer)

For this CKD would make such pricing achievable.

Also i hear the X7 50d will cost aprox 1.6 Cr. Ex-Showroom

Re: BMW greenlights the X7!

Those big fat kidney grills are so out of place on this otherwise beautiful car IMHO.
Everytime I look at it, it reminds me of the good old peterbilt like trucks.

Re: BMW greenlights the X7!

In the 2nd pic it seems the rear left tyre is running a space saver. Part of the testing ? Or may be the low profile tyres already developed a side wall crack/bubble hence on the space saver

Re: BMW greenlights the X7!

They have update the website with details & interior does look very rich. Will have to wait if they launch fully loaded variants or keep a low base price and offer options extra as they did recently with M2. But one thing is sure, there is definitely a change in the management or the decision maker, they are taking bold decisions

Re: BMW greenlights the X7!

Spotted on BMW X7 today. Just couldn't bear the sight of that grille on the car. I let it overtake me quickly.

The rear end is much much better.

I bought X7 last week. While the grill looks big to the car, it grows on you after few days. It turns lots of head thought. Not sure for good or bad reasons

I had the same reaction the first time the X7 showed up on my RVM.

Having seen it a few times now, I tend to agree somewhat. I don't necessarily like the large grille, but given how big the front of the X7 is, I think smaller grilles may look totally out of place.
