Aston Martin unveils Vanquish Zagato Concept

Quote:
Aston Martin and Italian design-house Zagato are proud to announce the Vanquish Zagato Concept, the latest creation from their long-standing partnership. The Vanquish Zagato Concept will make its global debut at the prestigious Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, held at Lake Como in Italy from 21 – 22 May 2016
Possibly one of the most beautiful cars to come out of the Aston-Zagato collaboration.
Hope Aston Martin pushes this into production.

Quote:
As the name suggests, the car is based on the Vanquish, which comes equipped with a six-liter, 569-horsepower V-12. Styling was a collaboration between teams at Aston and at Zagato in Milan, bringing out Zagato trademarks like the twin-bubble roof and the wraparound windshield profile — similar to the V12 Zagato — while preserving Aston Martin's core DNA in the grille and headlamps. Around back, there's a retractable spoiler (I kind of loved the giant, unapologetic wing on the V12 Zagato, but this is nice too) along with "bladed" taillights that are supposed to evoke Aston's Vulcan hypercard.

Re: Aston Martin unveils Vanquish Zagato Concept

For me, the Vanquish is one of the most beautiful cars in the current market. Everything is great. The front, side, rear view, interiors etc. And now they spoil the rear end by copying it straight from the Alfa Romeo 4C!! Does not gel well with the rest of the car IMO!
