Doing rounds on track is the new FXX K Evoluzione on Monza Circuit.

Details unknown as of now, but we do have an eargasmic video of it.

It indeed is the best thing heard today. Possibly Ferrari's birthday gift to customers marking the 70th anniversary. Hope they showcase it at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

First I saw a small glimpse of this video on Instagram and then a fellow BHPian sent me this video link, possibly we both were looking at the same thing at the same time on different platforms.

With the constant news of some manufacturer going all electric or hybrid, such developments bring a smile on my face. Just hearing the sound of this V12 is enough! Such engine sounds are the music to my ears.

Though this car would be available to a select few, I'm not sure if the prospective owners would drive the car so aggressively. You can see from the videos that the driver is pushing very hard - once or twice he/she had to take the escape route to turn 1 as he/she was a bit too fast.

That is really hardcore.

Love the sound and those brake discs glowing hot to bring down those insane speeds around the straights of Monza.

It is that grunt and magic from the V12 which is missing from the F1 cars nowadays!

Hahaha! That's the first thought hitting my mind - the FXX K sounds like yesteryear Formula 1 cars

Says a lot about the state of F1 today, when a team's road cars sound better than its race cars.

"Ferrari has pulled the wraps off the new FXX-K Evo at the 2017 Finali Mondiali celebration. Ferrari calls it a “closed-wheel laboratory car” expressing how experimental this track weapon is with its extreme aerodynamics. These modifications range from an absurd twin-profile rear wing, a new front fascia with carbon fiber splitters, fixed wings, and a downright frightening rear diffuser. Those hyperbolic aero pieces aren’t just for show. It’s all functional to bring as much downforce to the car at high speeds as possible."
