Audi has launched the RWS R8, this is the 1st production & street legal 'RWD' Audi R8;





The quoted 0-62mph sprint comes up in 3.7 seconds

Also it has lost 110 pounds compared to the standard (Quattro) version.

Audi also claims that this model is suitable for 'Controlled Drifting'.

This will be a limited run model & considering Audi using terminology of RWS (Rear Wheel Series) there may other such models planned in their line up.
