Lego builds a "life-size" Bugatti Chiron

A simple Lego building block has amazed me no ends. I have had them from childhood (I am sure many of you have too) and have slowly progressed to some of their more complex ones such as Technic. I introduced Lego to my 6 year old and he can't get enough of em. Every time a new model is out and if it has wheels, he has to have it.

Lego have now built a life size working model of a Bugatti Chiron.

I do not think that link works.

Speaking of LEGO builds, they have an awesome one for the BMW 1200 GS as well.

re: Lego builds a "life-size" Bugatti Chiron

Lego blocks have fascinated me from childhood. Have introduced them to my children as well. It's a wonderful toy for children.
If you go abroad, you must visit the various Lego showrooms eg. Legoland park. They are worth it.

Does it also mean that you can take it apart and make a Bugatti into a Lambo or a Ferrari as per your mood for the day?

I was introduced to Lego by my dad in the late 90s when he used to frequent Germany / Sweden for work. Despite taking a break from them post 2012 or so, I recently acquired a bucket of assorted pieces from Hamley's.

Why just children, even today, you can keep me occupied for hours with just Lego!

Here is something practical that I have been using since the last 3-4 months. A custom made laptop stand that can accommodate 13-14 inch laptops with ease. I use an external mouse and keyboard with it.

The swivelling part allows different lengths of laptops:

That is really awesome thing you built there. We have a master builder in house who can envision things without any instructions. (Sorry for that LEGO movie reference )

Unfortunately, that is not possible with Lego Technic. The parts are specific to a model and not universal. So, only the Chiron will look good when assembled from its kit.

Sure, other cars can be made, but it won't look as good.

The cars from Technic are really expensive. But totally worth it. I just got a Yacht last month and assembled it along with my daughter. It look us 4~5 hours and the whole experience was amazing!! A Catamaran can also be made from this kit. And its got working rudder and sails.

The Yacht gives company to my other buddies from AUTOart now.

Now, saving up to get a good car kit!
