PlayStation controller-operated Nissan Skyline GT-R capable of 200 mph!

You read that right. This is a Play Station Controller operared Nissan Skyline GT-R capable of 200 mph. You can't pick it up at the neighbourhood Nissan shop just yet. And it would possibly never be on sale. But just because they can, Nissan have made this full size Skyline GT-R operated with a Play Station controller and driven it on the Silverstone Circuit.

Re: PlayStation controller-operated Nissan Skyline GT-R capable of 200 mph!

A very cool project, but a stupid one. The beauty of the GT-R is from behind the wheel, not from a screen or remote control. Am sure Nissan will agree that the steering wheel & pedals are more fun than a controller.

Will surely get them a lot of publicity in the gaming world though.

The only purpose of this invention I can think of is while in tight parking places and you are alone. You can come out of the car and stand outside and operate the car to park in between two cars. (Assume that the car does not have parking sensors)

Second scenario is the car is stuck in mud and you want push the car and simultaneously the car should try to come out of the mud

I am not able to find any other reason for this invention. Can anyone else elaborate the exact reason for this invention?
