Will be a segment below Volkswagen's T ROC but is speculated to be more spacious than it. Based on VW's MQB A0 platform but is said to have the longest set-up with a wheel base of 2,645 m.

Engines:

VW Group’s latest batch of engines, most of which will be versions of the 1.0 litre three-cylinder engine in different state of tune.

Two variants are likely to be available – 95bhp and 115bhp – while buyers wanting more power will have to go for the 148bhp 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo.

Note: The Compact SUV for India will be based on this car in a a modified MQB A0 IN platform – which is currently under development for emerging markets and will underpin a number of new models. The SUV will borrow its design from the Skoda 'Vision X' and is expected to launch in 2021.

The source link mentions that the new SUV will slot in below the Karoq and the Kodiaq. In that case, this could be the Skoda version of the Seat Arona. The length of the new SUV is mentioned as 4250mm, which makes it about 130mm shorter than the Karoq. However, the wheelbase of 2645mm is a bit larger than even the Karoq's. No wonder, Skoda claims it would rival cars from a segment above on interior space.

Yes, essentially the Czech cousin of the Seat Arona and Volkswagen T-Cross
