Kia reveals the Mohave Masterpiece SUV

Kia has revealed plans to take on the large sized SUV segment with the Mohave Masterpiece concept or just Masterpiece as its been called. The Masterpiece is based off ladder frame underpinnings shared with the Kia Telluride and the Hyundai Palisade.

The brand's signature 'tiger-nose' looks are also on display, which would be adapted across the other offerings from the brand in future.

Details of the Masterpiece are limited, although Kia claims it has a “luxurious, hi-tech cabin”.
That could include Kia’s Real-time Emotion Adaptive Driving (READ), also on display at the Seoul motor show.
With artificial intelligence that includes the ability to monitor the driver’s emotion using sensors and a 3D camera, it can adjust the infotainment and ventilation accordingly.
While there is confirmed date for a showroom debut, it is indicated to be heading for the production line.

The Koreans are very, very ambitious and they are certainly no pushovers, whatever the segment. Hyundai & Kia - both - want to move up the food chain. Hyundai's high-end luxury sedans are pretty damn impressive & undercut the Germans by a fair margin. It's only the brand that holds their sales back.

With SUVs though, the brand doesn't matter as much as the product itself. That's why we see $80,000 F150 trucks selling in the USA and almost 40-lakh rupee Fortuners & Endeavours in India.

Wow these guys are matching American cars from the '60s and '70s for BLING.
A bit of an aquired taste but catchy no doubt.
