German Parliament votes to keep their autobahns speed limit free

German Parliament has voted to keep their autobahns speed limit free. As reported in the article, autobahns also have one of the lowest fatality rates in the world. Higher speed is not unsafe if people follow rules.

Re: German Parliament votes to keep their autobahns speed limit free

Glad to hear that. Goes to show how the media makes out to look as if everyone is on the greenwagon except the far right and industrialists.

They are picking out high profile targets for media mileage than working hard to lessen the impact of real world heavy emitters.

Though have more chance of buying a Merc in India, than visiting Germany, a run in the autobahn is one of the definite items in the automotive nirvana list. Coming from a guy interested more in curves than maximum velocity.
