SA : New version of Indian made bakkie launched

The Bolero range now features a drop-side version. Mahindra South Africa believes the one-ton bakkie is suited to tradespersons, small- business owners and farmers. It has a loadbox capacity of 1,848 m2, with fold-down panels on three sides of the flatbed loadbox. The Bolero range has been developed and produced in India since July 2000. The bakkie is powered by a 2 498 cc four-cylinder turbo-charged intercooled diesel engine, which delivers maximum power of 74 kW at 4 150 rpm, and a maximum torque of 235 Nm at 1 800 rpm.
