Hey guys

A month back i'd posted the topic, top ten (5) supercars of all time. Got to see several Ferraris, Porsches, Lambos, Paganis, Jags, TVRs and the works. Even saw an Iso-grifo, courtesy P-head.

Now its time to get to the other part, the top ten non-supercars. So here go the rules.

1. No supercars now, and i mean no cars with BHP above 350. That means even though the SLK 32AMG has 353 hp, its outta the reckoning.
2. Again, no mods. So please don't select a modded supra from some "me-too" tuner from japan. All stock.
3. You could select an SUV/SUVs. But again remember, the Cayenne S is in, the turbo is out.
4. If you thought, hey a WRC Evo could do, forget it. It should be a production model. An EvoI-VIII in its place would do just fine.
5. Cars manufactured/sold officially in India are allowed.
6. Vehicles have strictly to be four-wheelers. Reliants and Badals are no-no.
7. Track day specials allowed. Westfields and Ariels are a plus.

So put your thinking caps on.

Start scratching.

Ouch, man...you always come up with these brain teasers.

Okay heres my go

1. BMW M3 (M5 power output exceeded your hp limit)
2. Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VI (Also on my top 10 list...awesome handler and Ferrari killer through the curves)
3. Subaru Impreza WRX STi (Almost the same reasons as choice no. 2)
4. Ford Mustang GT350 (a sheer legend. The epitome of muscle cars. Make mine in white with blue racing stripes)
5. Mercedes Benz 560 SEL (Last of the tank like mercs. Style. Panache. Eternity)
6. Hummer H1 (I am an off-road freak...need I say more?)
7. Mahindra Classic 4x4 (I drive it, l live by it...Its a cult.)
8. Nissan Skyline R34 GTR(Like Jeremy said, electronics transfer a flat chest into a double D!!!)
9. Honda NSX Type R (A supercar that I can take to work in bumper to bumper traffic. As negligible maintainence as a Civic!)
10. Still thinking

Sorry pal, but i think the Shelby's gotta go. I mentioned in the rules. And i guess we've gotta set a precedent for others to follow. lol.

Revv

P.S. Noticed something GTO, our top three are "nearly" the same.

You're right GTO - I got used to the high ride. Hey, I remember the Mahindra Classic. A pretty darn good vehicle. Looks a lot like the jeep wrangler.

Gosh! This is going to be difficult. I'm keeping all Jaguars / Daimlers out. Otherwise, with no Ferraris and Astons around, there'll probably be nothing else on my list.

#1. Range Rover
#2. Rolls Royce Silver Spur
#3. Mini Cooper
#4. Porsche 944S
#5. Mercedes Benz 560SEL
#6. Mercedes Benz 190
#7. BMW M3
#8. Alfa Romeo GTV
#9. Rover Vitesse
#10. VW Golf GTi

I've almost reached the end of my wits.

Hey Rehaan,
I decided not to include any turbos. Otherwise the I really do like the 944 Turbo a lot more than the S.
Cheers.
