Microsoft now ties up with Ford

After Fiat, Microsoft has managed to hook Ford for their automotive operating systems. While their system with Fiat is called Blue&Me, the Ford one will be called Sync and most 2008 Ford's will have this system. The first victims will be Focus and five hundred models.

Seems like motorauthority.com isnt too pleased with the deal.

I would think Ford has problems of its own without having to import MS-related issues.

I wonder if we'd have to reboot a Ford everytime there is a problem now. Press Accelerator, Brake and Clutch in case of malfunction!

They have compromised! I remember when Ford escort 1.3 was launched,they were claiming it has a module which was the same in(then) Schumacher's Benneton-Ford and more advanced than Apollo!Meaning they were giving masses in India technology comparable to the best of NASA and Einstien!!!!

One thing about Ford,give them an inch they will stretch it to 2 miles!No one can beat Yanks for sheer marketing.
