93 year old Florida woman - 567,000 miles on a 1964 Mercury

Seriously impressive - she only stopped driving at 93 when old age caught up with her and recently passed away at 98

18 batteries, 3 mufflers, countless oil changes but the same engine

How beautiful. How touching. God bless her. I suspect we will not have this joy of keeping a car 40 or 50 years because of our 10 & 15 year rule. I would love to keep my Volvo XC60 running till I can drive - maybe another 25 years:-)...but those darn rules.

Hat's off to the spirit of this gal & the way she kept her car . IMHO, all of us should have one vehicle that we never part with in life. I think I've found mine in my '97 Jeep.
