494bhp skoda fabia

this is slightly old news but posting it seeing the cars coming here

Here's one Skoda Fabia you won’t see in your local supermarket car park. This seriously muscled machine is a one-off built for appropriately named Czech automotive component manufacturer Brisk, and it packs 494bhp.
The Brisk RS01 WRC, to give it its full title, is based on the first-generation Fabia, but as you will have noticed, little of the original car remains.
The hatchback body has been turned into a coupe, and the engine is anything but standard. Amazingly, the motor is based on the VW Group 2.0 TFSI, as used in the Octavia vRS, but with the wick turned up beyond 11. That means you get 494bhp at 7800rpm and 443lb ft at 3700rpm.
With a kerbweight of 1000kg, performance isn't just brisk, it's super-brisk, with 0-62mph taking 2.7sec.
The RS01 borrows some of its parts from the Skoda Fabia WRC rally car, including the Prodrive-developed six-speed sequential gearbox.
Brisk says that it will be running the car in some rallies, mainly as a promotional tool. It certainly caught our attention.

They have to.. Now the manufacturers have to look at 2 group of buyers..
1. The safety and mileage oriented..
2. The Team-Bhpiian type performance oriented.
