Isn’t this Sportage itself?

I booked the Seltos earlier last month and couple of weeks back had gone to cancel it since the update is around the corner. The sales guys suggested that I leave the booking open and decide once the update or the booked vehicle arrives.

Hoping that Kia more or less maintains the existing exterior design and add a panoramic sunroof

Spy Shots suggest the DRL has changed, with changes to the front too. The fog light is a two-ball vertical type and the wheel size is 18 inches.

The current Seltos is a safe design which is liked by a majority. It has relatively aged well too.

If this facelift is based on the current design language of KIA which has lots of sharp edges, quirky bits and everything that they did with Sportage and Carens, there would be a drastic shift in the target audience.

Also sharper designs don't age that well.

Re: KIA Seltos facelift spied in Korea

Apart from tweaking aesthetics and styling, and taking a calculated guess, addition of a Head-Up display may also be a possibility. The Korean market variant has it. There's an All Wheel Drive option available as well.
Time for KIA to differentiate and democratise AWD benefits to its customers?

Re: KIA Seltos facelift spied in Korea

The Current Seltos is a very good-looking car. I hope KIA does not screw up the design by adding unnecessary design elements, I could already see the overdone alloy wheels, hopefully they don't apply the same design language to the front and the rear, or it would end up looking like the current gen Creta(the ugliest car in my opinion).

More images: Kia Seltos facelift shows off its new tail lights

New images of the Kia Seltos facelift have surfaced online. The latest images give us a glimpse of the SUV's redesigned LED taillights.

The test mule that was recently spotted in South Korea had L-shaped LED taillights that look very different compared to the current model.

The Seltos facelift is also expected to feature an updated front fascia with revised headlamps and grille. It could get a few interior updates along with the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).

In India, the Seltos will continue to be powered by the 1.5-litre petrol, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. The SUV is rumoured to be launched in India around mid-2022.

They are perhaps introducing a new visual style. The headlamps and tail lamps are perhaps in line with the Carens

If it was spotted in Korea that would mean it's the SP2 (larger model and completely different from the Indian one) which already gets ADAS. In fact, the SP2i that is made in India is an RHD conversion of the short-wheelbase version (for export to Latin America) of the completely different (from the SP2) Chinese SP2c, which also already gets ADAS. So it's unlikely that this image indicates that the Indian Seltos will get ADAS though there are other sources that indicate it's true.

Face-lift Seltos spied :

the changes won’t be more than front and rear redesigned bumpers (again, we can see the same look so this should be an early prototype), the grille which also looks like having a different design. Headlights and taillights will also change its graphics.

Re: KIA Seltos facelift spied in Korea

I called Nara KIA in Bangalore today and the SA there was very clear that there is no Seltos facelift expected any time soon.

Has anyone heard any solid news from the dealers about the facelift?

Re: KIA Seltos facelift spied in Korea

Why can't KIA and Hyundai make normal looking alloy wheels. These alloy wheels look overly complicated.
