Will storied EU auto companies vanish in 4-5 years?

The market believes that storied EU companies’ enterprise value “will go to zero in four or five years” — an astonishing assessment of a sector that is responsible for almost 30 per cent of all European R&D spend.

Wow, primarily driven by lack of focus on EVs nad being slow to change!

The same market that has valued Tesla to comical levels?

Closer home how they are treating Ather vs Ola/Simple one(?).

I don't believe that this will happen but the signals are clear that future is not petrol/diesel ICE! Hyundai has also stopped research on ICE engines. Also, financial analysts don't always understand the industries well. His point is basically that the valuations of top EU companies are significantly lower than their pure EV rivals!
