Lamborghini registers best half-yearly sales in company history; Urus accounts for 61% of total

Lamborghini has posted its best-ever half-yearly figures in the company's history, both in terms of sales and profitability. Between January & June 2022, the Italian supercar maker managed to sell 5,090 units worldwide, which is a 4.9% increase compared to the same period in 2021. The company also announced a turnover of 1.33 billion euros, translating to a 30.6% increase compared to the first half of the previous year. Lamborghini's operating profit was also up by 69.6% to 425 million euros.

Coming back to the sales, Lamborghini stated that the majority of its sale volume came from the Urus. The performance SUV accounted for 61% of Lamborghini's total sales, with the remaining accounted for by the Huracan and Aventador.

Lamborghini's largest market during the first half of 2022 was the USA, with 1,521 units delivered. This was followed by China with 576 units, Germany with 468 units and the UK with 440 units. The EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) area has received 41% of the deliveries, America accounted for 34%, while the Asia-Pacific region accounted for 25% of vehicles delivered.
