Fiat 500 - Cinquecento

Fiat's launching a souped up version of its classic the Fiat 500.
The very car launched 50 years ago (4th july 1957). IT became a cult classic to the effect that it allowed ordinary Italians to afford a four wheeler. (i guess this can be equated to the 800). The production was stopped in 1975 due to the changing times. Fiat's troubles then overtook, and reviving the 500 was not on priority.

After the success of the Mini, Fiat decided to relaunch the 500 with a 1.4L, multi valve engine pushing out 100 BHP. The "Cinquecento" is being touted as Fiat's iPod.
